Research Interests

I am a space plasma physicist with a focus on how the solar wind and its large-scale structures—such as coronal mass ejections, high-speed streams, and stream interaction regions—shape the near-Earth environment. My research explores the formation and properties of dynamic pressure enhancements ("jets") in the magnetosheath, the region just outside Earth's magnetic field, and how these processes link solar, magnetospheric, and space weather phenomena. I am also interested in stellar activity, the impact of solar events on satellites, and the broader connections between astrophysical plasma processes and our technological society.

I am part of the Space Plasma Group at Queen Mary University of London.
